PRINCIPALS:
Jeff Wainwright, a New Jersey native of Irish descent, was a Hyperion (IMRS) client at Aetna Life & Casualty in Hartford, Connecticut for 3 years before joining Hyperion in 1993. After 10 years in product management at Hyperion, including his integral role in the development of Hyperion Enterprise and its global statutory reporting capabilities, Jeff was promoted onto the alpha program to create a new leading edge solution for the marketplace; Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). After HFM revolutionized the CFO's desktop, Jeff moved into the Hyperion partner community and founded Skehana Systems, LLC in 2002. Since its inception, Skehana has retained 100% of its clients with Jeff at the helm!
Gary Reck, a Wisconsin native, known as “Mr. Micro Control” when he was a Hyperion client, joined Hyperion in 1992 as Consulting Services Manager. His 10 years there focused on growing and mentoring a consulting organization from 5 consultants to over 250. Best known for his philosophy of work/life balance for consultants and clients, Gary was named Vice President of Consulting Services to bring Hyperion Planning 1.0 to the marketplace. Since 2002, Gary continued to work with Hyperion at two distinguished implementation partners and rejoined the ranks of Skehana fulltime as President & CEO in early 2010. He provides a company vision focused on client satisfaction and consultant loyalty as Skehana's key operating principles.
Matt Brady Matt Brady is the Director of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) at Skehana and also heads up the IT practice. Matt came to Skehana almost two years ago with a broad Business Intelligence background after nearly 10 years working as a consultant with Fidelity Investments. Matt has also been active in the Hyperion Planning and Essbase realm for 6 years. Matt has a unique set of Hyperion application and technical skills focused on Planning, Essbase, OBIEE (Interactive Reporting) AND IT/Infrastructure. He has also been instrumental in setting up Skehana's internal sandbox development environment. Matt is currently working on both an installation and Essbase/Planning project for two of our strategic partners as well as overseeing the EPM Practice.
CONSULTING & CLIENT SUPPORT:
Kelly Reck is an experienced functional and technical recruiter/screener on the Skehana team in locating “A+” EPM resources for project and implementation consulting opportunities. She is an expert in utilizing social media and other creative marketing approaches to conduct the initial search and to begin the recruiting process. Kelly is known for her excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with prospective employees and all levels of executive management.
Pat Wainwright, a finance executive, entrepreneur and grandmother of seven is a native New Yorker who co-founded LearnTech Inc., a very successful executive training and coaching firm for Fortune 500 companies. Pat serves as Skehana's Global Head of Financial Operations and is the managing executive at Skehana's Headquarters in Brookfield, Ct. Skehana gets its name from Pat and her Irish mother Katie, who was born and raised in Skehana, Ireland located in County Cork. Pat and her husband Dave (married 50+ years) currently reside in Connecticut.
SOLUTION ARCHITECTS:
Most of the consulting team has prior experience working for either Gary or Jeff at Hyperion. Consultants who share the same Skehana philosophies are hand picked based on their balance of technical experience and client satisfaction focus.
By using their combined 40 years of experience in the EPM marketplace, Jeff and Gary have established an impressive resource network and have the abilty to procure the top Hyperion resources for their clients. Their reputations depend on it!
Jane Kozuch
Jane and Gary first began working together in the mid 90's when Gary hired Jane into the Hyperion consulting ranks in the early Hyperion Enterprise days. Since then, Jane has compiled over 15 years of hands-on and project leadership experience with Hyperion Financial Management. She trained the first ever HFM consultants and continues to mentor and advise consultants, clients and partners alike with her knowledge of the most complex rules on the planet.
Jane has not only provided the utmost satisfaction from our partners and clients, she truly represents what Skehana stands for; loyalty, hard work and integrity. All while finding the time to continue her top notch windsurfing skills at exotic locations around the world. We are extremely proud to have Jane on our team!.
Craig Masters
Craig is another seasoned HFM Senior Architect who joined Skehana in February 2011. Craig and Gary, President & CEO, have been working together since Craig joined Gary's team at Hyperion in the late 90s. Not only is he a great consultant, Craig has a great reputation in the Hyperion industry, and many clients ask for him by name.
Craig has over 12 years of professional experience in consulting developing and implementing dynamic Hyperion software solutions using proven implementation methodologies for consolidation, and financial reporting products. He has substantial experience in reporting and analytics coupled with deep Hyperion System 9 and Hyperion System 11 design and delivery capabilities.
William Escobar
As a Hyperion certified consultant, William Escobar has 20+ years of EPM accounting experience specializing in intercompany transactions, currency translation, SEC reporting, budgeting & planning, and financial reporting. He has vast experience in financial statement consolidations and specializes in HFM and FDM. He also has experience as an Hyperion Enterprise Administrator. As a past employee of Hyperion and their partners, William has participated in over 15 HFM implementations at various domestic and international clients.
William is fluent in Spanish and as a result has been recently involved in the HFM implementation and in person training of users in Chile and Ecuador during our international rollout of HFM at Laureate. He contined the worldwide training of HFM users in eight other global regions prior to embarking on his newest endeavor as an HFM Senior Solutions Architect.
Judy Nelson
Judy Nelson is a versatile, self-motivated Accounting and Information Technology professional who has invested 20 years of her career in maximizing Hyperion consolidation projects (Micro Control, Hyperion Enterprise and HFM.) With several hundred satisfied clients to-date, Judy is one of the most experienced HFM consultants in the world, and one of the best in writing complex business rules. With diverse experience across many vertical markets, Judy is a creative thinker with the ability to combine her technical and financial skills with her concern for people. Judy is based out of Chicago and enjoys troubleshooting and maximizing the performance of current applications, as well as building new solutions from the ground up. Chacory “Cory” Demart
Chacory Demart is a past Hyperion Solutions employee and is a Hyperion Planning and ODI expert with a certification in Essbase and over 12 years of Business Intelligence experience with complete project development cycles. Chacory has a successful track record of on-time and on-budget projects, which lead to additional project phases. He is an accomplished developer in Budget/Forecasting, sales analysis, demos and key performance indicator applications. Chacory is based out of Houston and has joined Skehana in leading a Planning implementation at several partners. He began working with Skehana in April, 2012 and quickly picked up two additional projects within his first month.
